President
Sharon joined her father Fran in January 2002 after working in the field of Human Resources for several years. She specialized in data management, compensation consulting, employee relations and budget management. Sharon utilized this experience to develop reports and processes, ensuring each KBS client receives the highest level of quality service. Through Sharon’s leadership the company has grown from its original roots as a Tax Preparation and Consulting firm to a leading Administrative Family Office. In 2020, Sharon led the firm to a full transition out of the Tax Preparation business to solely focus on Family Office work and has seen the firm double in size in three years. Sharon believes that its imperative to not only provide a high level of customer service but to be efficient doing so and the backbone to that is the proper use of technology. In 2002, she began the process of developing what was at first a consolidated reporting tool that over time became a complex database to what is now a proprietary FinTech platform that handles all aspects of the back office and reporting. The platform allows KBS to use one technology to provide its clients with complex, customized reporting while at the same time housing all information on our families, their assets, investments and charitable giving in one streamlined system. By having the proper tool in the hands of KBS staff we are able to spend more time focusing on our clients and their needs while the system does the heavy lifting of customized report creation. Prior to starting her career she received a dual BS in Human Resources Management and Producing for Electronic Media from Syracuse University. Sharon also went on to get a Masters in Industrial Labor Relations from Cornell University. After joining KBS she decided learning more in tax would help create a love for the Tax Preparation business and earned a Graduate Certificate in Tax as well as a Masters in Taxation from Bentley University. She also is an Enrolled Agent, admitted to practice before the Internal Revenue Service. Unfortunately (or fortunately) none of this schooling in tax helped in the love of the subject…it only made the drive to do something different grow more…hence the transformation of KBS to its current form. In her spare time you can find her traveling with her family, or hanging out with her dog watching movies over and over again until she memorizes them.

Kim S. Brandano

With over 12 years of experience in senior financial roles within the professional services industry, Kim joined the firm in September 2003. Her expertise includes project management, cash management, budgeting, forecasting, financial statement preparation & analysis, compensation, and benefits. Kim focuses her time on financial reporting, client account management and special projects. She is also available to provide consulting services to organizations and individuals in the areas of finance and accounting. She received her BS in Accounting from Babson College and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Stephanie joined the firm in February 2010 after spending over 10 years working in financial management roles in various service organizations. Stephanie’s skills include budgeting, forecasting, financial statement preparation and analysis, compensation and benefits. Stephanie plays an integral role at KBS working directly with clients and providing them with key financial reporting on a timely basis. In 1999, Stephanie received her MBA from Bentley University. She is also an Enrolled Agent, admitted to practice before the Internal Revenue Service.

Michael Kiser

Manager, Family Office Services
Michael joined the firm in May 2015. He began as a Family Office Administrator with his primary duties focused in Family Asset Management where he assisted with administrative tasks and special projects. In June 2018 Michael was promoted to a Family Office Accountant to expand his work to include handling the books for various family entities and higher level financial reporting. In 2021, Michael assumed his current position of Manager, Family Office Services where he oversees all internal data integrity and process management as well as serves as a high level resource to clients. Michael pursued a degree at Rhode Island College and brought with him eight years of experience in Account Management prior to his time at KBS.

Adrienne Brooslin

Adrienne Brooslin

Adrienne joined KBS in May 2023 as a Family Office Account Specialist. She is a member of a team responsible for the day-to-day management and administration of the personal finances of firm clients. Adrienne has a BA in History from Tufts University and a JD from Suffolk University Law School. Past work experience includes time spent as a casualty claim representative in the insurance industry and as an attorney representing healthcare professionals. Adrienne also spends time immersed in community advocacy and volunteer work, serving on the boards of several nonprofits.

Alisa Camillo

Alisa started with us after graduating Salem State University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. She began as an intern but quickly moved into a full time position doing administrative work. After learning different aspects of the company such as reconciling and bill pay, she grew into her current role as a Family Office Senior Associate. Alisa loves to help people with anything it may be and she has found ways to do that in her role. She can’t wait to learn more and grow within the company!

Lisa joined our team in September of 2021. She assists our clients with managing their Bill Pay, Account Reconciliation, as well as other family office tasks. Lisa has a Bachelor of Arts from Stonehill College. She was a high school math teacher prior to spending sixteen years at home with her two sons. She enjoys watching her boys do what they love to do, and her very energetic but sweet goldendoodle.

Billy Dunne

Billy joined KBS in 2022 with a background in sales operations and strategy in the technology sector. He brings a process-and-data-driven mindset to internal projects involving data management and reporting. Billy holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Tufts University. Outside of work, Billy enjoys disc golf, curling, writing, and time with friends and family.

Debbie started at KBS in October, 2021. She has a wide variety of experience in both small and large companies in everything from computer programming to tax preparation to bookkeeping. At KBS, Debbie assists our clients with managing their day-to-day needs as well as other complex accounting projects. Debbie has a BS in Accounting and Management Information Systems from Boston College, Carroll School of Management, and an MBA in Management Information Systems from Bryant University.

Tracy Fedak

Tracy brings a unique blend of business & non-profit experience to KBS from the many places she has lived & worked. She was employed by the US Government while living in Germany. In New York City, she worked for a nationally published magazine; in Chicago, she worked for the University of Chicago Hospital; and in the MetroWest suburbs of Boston, she focused on the non-profit sector managing an annual event (for six years) that focused on the safety of High School seniors. At KBS, Tracy’s focus is on assisting clients with the management of their household bills, financial reporting, and a multitude of family office tasks. Tracy graduated from the University of Michigan with a BS in Marketing & Finance. Tracy & her husband have lived in seven different states in the U.S. and in Bavaria, Germany.

Maureen has over 30 years of business experience having implemented and designed ERP and other business systems at some of the world’s largest manufacturing companies.  Although a native New Englander, she has travelled all over the world for business and pleasure and spent 3 years living in Europe working with multiple national companies.  Maureen’s strong finance and business background along with her great interpersonal skills make her a valued asset to the team. Maureen lives in Medfield Ma, with her husband, and has 3 sons in the Boston area.

Emily Marcucci

Emily Marcucci, Executive Assistant to our President, joined us in February 2022. Her previous work experience includes time as assistant to the CEO of ChildrenFirst, which later became part of Bright Horizons. The bulk of her time since then has been spent as a full-time Mom managing a large household (9 children!) which serves us well as she expertly juggles people, logistics, and numbers. Emily holds a BA in Psychology from Harvard University where she played one season of rugby.

Cathy currently handles all aspects of client services including reporting and accounting projects. She works hard to maintain a day-to-day relationship with clients, and she utilizes her former experience in office management positions to prioritize and attend to every client’s need. Cathy joined the KBS team several years ago and contributes her diverse accounting experience along with her collaborative attitude. Cathy earned her CPA certificate after having graduated from College of the Holy Cross with a BA in Mathematics, and from Northeastern University with an MS in Accounting. Cathy and her husband enjoy spending free time with their four adult children and two grandchildren (although they are in denial about being grandparents).

Carrie Quinlan

Carrie started at KBS in May 2023. As a Family Office Associate, she assists our clients with managing their daily bill pay, income and expense reporting, and other family office tasks. Carrie has a BA in Psychology from Boston University and held a career as a recruiter specializing in the placement of Finance and Accounting specialists before spending 10 years at home with her girls. In her free time, Carrie enjoys cooking with her husband and daughters, knitting, and going on long walks with her crazy Weimaraner dog Blue.

Bringing over 20 years of office management experience, Georgia also brings a strong background in bookkeeping and tax administration knowledge. At KBS Georgia assists our clients with managing their day to day needs and assisting in special projects. Georgia pursued a degree in business at MBCC. During the pandemic she took the opportunity to further her interest in social media marketing and became a Certified Digital Marketing Professional (CDMP) and Professional Certified Marketer (PCM). Georgia loves pop culture, trivia, musical bingo and has been told by her kids she is “overly extroverted”.

Marie-Lise Sobande

Marie-Lise has an extensive background in accounting, financial analysis and reporting. She’s worked at a variety of private and publicly traded companies and state government. She currently works on client account management, financial reporting, and special projects. Marie-Lise holds a B.A. in Economics and Spanish from Wellesley College and completed a graduate program in accounting at Babson College.

Angela joined KBS in February 2023 as a Senior Associate with a background in Wealth Management and Family Office Services, having recently graduated from The University of Massachusetts Amherst with a BBA in Operations and Information Management. Angela assists with our clients’ Reconciliation Reports, Bill Pay, Administrative Duties, Cash Flow Reports, Investments and Special Projects. In her free time, Angela loves to travel and explore new places.
